Take a look at how amazing this conference is going to be – We are very excited about the session content, our speakers, networking, and yes, for another opportunity to build relationships and partnerships among the many professional and thought leading budget operations from across our great state. Last week, Justin Amos brought you an awesome #NCLGBA17 Summer Conference Preview: Transforming Government by Design! Check out the draft agenda if you have been wondering what other sessions we have in the works – we are busy planning for the conference and want to make sure you’re kept in the loop along the way. At least one member knows how amazing it’s going to be…he was so excited about the conference, he registered twice!
Registration ends in 3 ½ weeks – So, jump on the bandwagon! If you haven’t already, register and please take a few minutes after the holiday to spread the word within your organization about the benefits that you always experience at our budget conferences. We’re going to be downtown on the river this year and very close to the beach; we want to continue having high attended conferences as we grow, welcoming first time attendees and seeing faces from members who were there when it all started. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or one of the NCLGBA’s board members. You can click here for more information on how to register for the conference.
Get on the waiting list for lodging – The cut-off for reservations isn’t until Tuesday, June 20, however, the room block is currently full! If you didn’t get a chance to reserve a room and are interested in attending the conference, please contact Stephen Hawryluk at firstname.lastname@example.org and a waiting list will be started. We have compiled a list of other hotel options in the area and if there is enough interest, additional rooms may be obtained at the Hilton Riverside. If you currently have a reservation and plan to cancel, please notify Stephen Hawryluk and he will get the reservation transferred to someone on the waiting list.
Again, the Board thanks you for your continued support of the North Carolina Local Government Budget Association and we look forward to seeing you July 12-14 in Wilmington!
