Hiring Range: $43,879 – $45,000 annually

Job Description:

This newly created position will perform technical and professional work in various human resources programs including recruitment and selection, new hire orientation, training and development coordination, HR policy administration, benefits administration, wellness program management, and work in developing, implementing, and administering programs and policies for assigned areas of human resources.

Job Duties:

Duties may include the following:

  • Posting job advertisements
  • Screening and referring applications to hiring department
  • Conducting pre-employment background checks
  • Preparing draft job specifications
  • Conducting new employee orientation and benefits enrollment
  • Working with employees to ensure understanding of benefit programs
  • Compiling data for governmental reporting requirements
  • Coordinating the drug testing program
  • Developing and implementing wellness programs
  • Researching new programs, policies, and practices to initiate new programs or improve existing programs
  • Assisting with employee events
  • Assisting with other areas of human resources as needed

Qualifications:

Position requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and related experience in human resources; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Hiring range $43,879 – $45,000 based on relevant experience.
